AnyColor Firefox add-on screen shots

AnyColor by Pavlos Touboulidis

AnyColor is a fantastic Firefox add-on that allows you to apply preset Firefox color themes to Firefox instantly and without having to restart Firefox. AnyColor also provides you with ways to easily create your own color theme and the ability to specify your own images to be used for Firefox's interface.

Because of the fact that AnyColor is so highly customizable and because it offers a feature to globally increase/decrease the font size that Firefox displays on its interface, I can classify it as a very helpful accessibility tool for Firefox users with various disabilities. You can very easily create your own high or low contrast color themes to suit your needs so now you have the ability to customize not only web pages that are displayed in Firefox, but you can also customize Firefox itself to match your web page's settings and appearance.

Accessing AnyColor

When you first install AnyColor and then restart Firefox, a page will be displayed offering you the opportunity to place an AnyColor button on your main Firefox toolbar (the one at the top). If you'd like to move the button to another toolbar, or manually add it yourself, you can do that by either right clicking on a Firefox toolbar (other than the Bookmarks toolbar) and selecting Customize, or go to View > Toolbars > Customize and locate the AnyColor button in the Customize Toolbar window and drag it to where you would like for it to be. This will now give you quick access to AnyColor's options and preset themes.

You can access AnyColor's preferences window by clicking on the AnyColor toolbar button and select Options or by going to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > AnyColor > Options. It is there where you can create, remove, or modify themes and access advanced features and settings including the option to increase or decrease the font sizes of Firefox's interface and windows.

The following images have been scaled down to fit this page. You can view the actual size(s) of the images by clicking on an image, or by selecting View Full Size. Once you've viewed an image, you can click on Close or click on any area that surrounds the image to return to this page's default view.
