Installing Firefox on Windows
Firefox is as easy to install as it is to use. Follow these simple steps and in no time, you'll be surfing the Internet in a safer, better, and faster way.
This guide is also available for download to use as you install Firefox.
Visit the mozillaZine Knowledge Base for instructions for other operating systems.
Go to www.Mozilla.com
Select the language that you prefer to begin the download process.
Select "Run" and Firefox will download.
After the download finishes, you will be asked, "Do you want to run this software? Select "Run".
Firefox will then extract the necessary files for installation.
The Firefox Setup Wizard will open, select "Next"
Then the License Agreement window will open, tick the radio button that says, "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and select "Next".
The Setup Type window will open and you may choose "Standard" or "Custom". Most users will choose "Standard". Click on "Next".
The Installation window will open and Firefox will be installed on your computer.
The final window will open stating that, "Mozilla Firefox has been installed on your computer".
Select "Finish" and Firefox will open automatically.
